Privacy Policy — WebPerf Labs

WebPerf Labs is a developer tool that analyzes web performance on pages you visit. This policy describes what data the extension can access and how it is used.

Data the extension can access

• Network activity — Request URLs, timing, HTTP status, and response size (via the Content-Length header only). Response body content is never read.
• Performance metrics — Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP, FCP, TTFB), DOM structure (node count, depth), and JavaScript long-task data, computed in your browser.
• Current page — The URL and title of the tab you are analyzing when you open the extension.

How data is used

All processing happens locally in your browser. No data is sent to our servers or any third party. The extension does not store, sell, or transfer your data. Metrics exist only in memory and are cleared when you close the tab or navigate away.

The extension requests access to all websites only so it can run on any page you choose to analyze; it does not access data from tabs you do not open the extension on.

No cookies, tracking, or analytics

WebPerf Labs does not use cookies, analytics, or any form of tracking.
